Hi all out on another of my organised digs , Had a william 111 halfcrown 1697 a lizzy 1 sixpence 1570 and a 14 century eddy penny a good day in all enjoy

Wow ! when you say organized dig - you aren't suggesting that these coins were planted recently for the dig members are you ?

no no i run a forum and put on digs for members every sunday , these sort of finds come up every week we have plenty of good ground come and look at our finds Free forum : Detecting-England - Portal

Believe me it goes on, but these are as found by organising regular trips, abiding by the metal detecting codes..Nice Hammy's Roman Hunter, I hope to get down for one of the digs.:thumbsup:
