Out with two friends today

Two buddies picked me up today and we headed to a lake about an hour drive away. Got there and it was sunny but the wind was just howling, luckily it was coming from the shore so the waves were not a problem. We unloaded...and unloaded...and...well here's a picture. (we do go prepared)

Targets were very scarce but it was fun to be out. After stopping for a lunch break with only a couple of coins in my pouch I put away my Tiger Shark and pulled out the Sand Shark which gave me more hits and let me get the deeper targets. Here are the guys having lunch.

Well the Pi paid off with more coins and luckily enough 2 silver rings and a light 10k ring.

Way to come back in the second half of the hunt As far as the amount of equipment you have I've always said "I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it." Great hunt....

Too funny Gord, I regret not detecting those piles. They had run a beach rake along the dry sand and shallows and raked up all that dirt and weed. Might have been some interesting stuff in them.
