In March, I was voted as the Outings Coordinator for our club. Last Saturday we had an outing at one of our better claims and we provided lunch for everyone. We had 44 members show up for this outing. In addition, the president invited reporters from the LA Times to join us. So make that 47 in attendance. Naturally we provided them shirts, panning kits, and most importantly, instruction. Everyone found gold and the comradery was great.
