I have one they are not bad detected some good iron at over 8inches
on all metal found some penneys at about 4 inches doug in a creek at a old car bumper at 10inches realy !!!! just get use to the sounds and tone still learning the machine for 60 bucks graet to learn how to listen to tone hope this helps
