I guess it's human nature to think the grass is greener somewhere else. I still haven't detected my own yard and I'm surrounded by a whole town built in the mid to late 1800's. For some reason I feel I have to go somewhere else.., weird. Great little find. Keep it up, I'm sure there's more. (Love the patina too!)I found this literally ten feet from my front door, next to the sidewalk. The house was built in the 30s.
I like the patina on this wheatie.
