Outside my front door

I found this literally ten feet from my front door, next to the sidewalk. The house was built in the 30s.

I like the patina on this wheatie.

I guess it's human nature to think the grass is greener somewhere else. I still haven't detected my own yard and I'm surrounded by a whole town built in the mid to late 1800's. For some reason I feel I have to go somewhere else.., weird. Great little find. Keep it up, I'm sure there's more. (Love the patina too!)

I've told this before, but a detecting buddy and dealer was trying to sell me a Deus, I thought it was too "small" to be taken seriously. He came over to my house and pulled a ton of coins out of the lawn and a 14k gold ring! We then found a lot more stuff.

There goes the yard how long did it take you from finding the penny to grabbing the old swing stick. Funny thing I havent detected my yard ever either. lol
