Over an ounce from one crack

...of lead that is. This was a hand sized crack 8 inches long and about 8" deep. Anyone else find cracks which are absolutely impacted with lead? Not a "non toxic" fishing weight to be found though. Loons must be eating those now too.

Wow...that crevice was a real catch-all for lost fishing gear..any decent lures, etc?

I know of a couple of dry claims in the Mojave , where you have to stop every 1/2 hour to cleanout the bird shot.

There must be hundreds of pounds of lead in this stretch. A dredge should be in there cleaning...Ur i mean "dirtying" the stream up! Anyone have any pics of big lead finds. Pounds?

Not pounds or ounces even, but I find bird shot pretty much every time out.
