It was 70 degrees today and the frost has left the ground. [in most places]
I found this 1917 Merc, 1917 Wheatie, and a pill box.
It was great to hunt on a warm day with no frost.

Mine didnt come with silver however ::) ;D ;D ;D

Those are some great finds. That is a beautiful pill box. Great job.
 
I think the pillbox might be silver plated but not sure.
It does not want to open and I dont want to force it.
Any ideas on how to get it open?

Soaking it in olive oil might be worth trying....if you don't mind using up that much olive oil on something inedible. LOL
