Owens pottery 1975

Picked up this set of pottery signed Owens 1975 for $6. Been doing pretty good at the thrift shops lately. Any one have more info or idea of a value? Thanks for the help.

I hate the thrift stores near me. They have almost nothing worth anything and the few decent things they have start at eBay prices. I don't even go anymore unless it is to donate my clunkers.

Any idea what city and state that ripped masking tape had written on it?

Ben Owen is from NC and his pottery is quite valuable. However I don't know if there is any relation. It doesn't sound familiar. I also don't really see any on eBay but I have seen very high prices on it at antique malls.

Yeah there are a lot of Owens' in NC in the pottery business. That's why I was asking if they know what was on the tape. It doesn't look like NC to me.

The tape looks like Robert Owens of Cleveland, GA. Owned and operated Owens pottery.
