Priest turned outlaw...compiled one of the largest caches in the US located in OK (4000 pounds of gold). Stole from successful miners which was easier than searching for himself.
Near Flagg Springs - North Central part of Cimmarron county.

Supposedly it is in or around Flagg Springs...

Anyone have an idea if it was found - one of the links above says it was 'partially' found. Appraisal site does not give info unless you pay to get it...so no clue as to the owners of the property.
