I bought this at a small antique shop in town. I paid $15 + 6% Pa. sales tax. It looks hand made and old. It is made from a chunk of wood carved into a drum shape. It is painted purple, green, black and white. It is 5 1/4" tall X roughly 8 1/2" across the top. It has a heavy skin on the top and bottom. It has a hole where it looks like a knot fell out. Who made it and when and did I get burnt for $15?

I know there are a lot of smart people on here that knows what this is. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. DDinPA.
