Painting by W. Stanton? Approx. 16"W by 21"H curious about artist history /value
Thank you for looking at this painting. It is something that captured my wife's eye at a thrift store. We're not sure if the paint used is oil or acrylic but it is very textured. We think the artist name may be W. Stanton, was African American and female but would like to verify this if possible. The size of the painting is approximately 21" long and 16" wide. I altered the picture of the signature to see if it would help to see it more clearly. Thanks in advance for helping research this. Sorry for the sideways photos.
