Here's one of my points. One of the tips has been broken off slightly. The last picture shows what looks like a set of small basal flutes and it has basal grinding.

It is just over 3" long.

Paleo or other?

My $.02... It's got the right shape and looks to be well worn. I think those were thinning strikes on the base as they terminate very quickly. May have lost the corner trying to thin it due to the material. :dontknow: That material is in layers it seems and so there's steps along the edge so it's not obvious what the flaking pattern is--at least to my eyes. I enjoyed looking at it. Thanks. Bring on the trained eyes!

There is a gnarly "hump" naturally in the stone in the smack dab middle of it. Made it hard to flake for sure.

MaMucker,- that's along the lines I was thinking. I had it in a box of points and just recently started going through them.
