Just happened to get my coil over this beauty yesterday. One of the best South Carolina coat buttons I have ever dug! And the icing on the cake is that it has a Canfield and Bro CO Baltimore backmark! Other notable finds for the day included a kepi Eagle A, a broken Confederate spur tip with rowel intact and a beautiful Rev War period rosette (harness strap cover) with a swirl design. This was my first Confederate button for 2018 ......... HH Devonrex
