Panting and sketch

Here are two pics I posted before, thought I would re-post them here in the official artwork forum. The painting is of an old General store in the town of Tazwell, Indiana. I saw it one day back in the 80s while out looking for places to detectorize and took a photo to paint from, it is opaque acrylik...The sketch is a young US Senator Jeff Davis before Secession, done with all drawing pencils.
