Park Hunt...First One Dollar Coin!

Hit the park for about an hour today...it's been 2 days since I've swung my MD, so I had the itch to get out, and am glad I did... I nailed a George Washington one dollar coin (first one dollar coin for me) in the tot-lot, a couple inches down in the wood bark! WOOT! Also found $1.29 in clad... Happy hunting!!

The mint has so many unused $1 presidential coins that it is ending production except for collectors. By stopping production it will save taxpayers $50 million a year. Just read that this week in the WSJ.

True...this might just be my one and only dollar coin I EVER dig up, so I'm going to thoroughly enjoy it!
