Got out my old Bounty Hunter Tracker II and headed to the parking lot for a local sports arena. In 30 minutes, I found a small coin spill and ended up with 74 cents (2 clad quarters, 2 clad dimes, and 4 copper pennies).

If I have that kind of luck every day for two years I can afford a new detector I have my eye on!

Yup. But some days you might find several dollars in clad. Maybe just one year! Some of our more energetic friends here with good knees are pulling much more than that out of the ground. That Equinox 800 everyone is raving about is just around the corner. Good luck to ya.

About those knees ...

As it turns out I was looking at an Equinox 600 but may end up with a Garrett AT Pro. Still trying to decide.

Welcome to this website. Good hunting and good luck.

If it was a Starbucks you were $3.73 Short of a medium Pike Place. Congrats on the hard work. :occasion14:

Keep at it and you will get it.

Keep digging the clad, it really adds up! :icon_thumleft:

That's a start ! I'v been averaging around $3 to $5 with my Bounty Hunter , last year i fed the coinstar machine over $800 bucks! And i had broke my leg in a M/C accident and couldn't detect for three months. The best day was around $25 !
I did upgrade and bought a Whites TresurePro. Hated it. Kept saying quarter, steady VDI 85, bottle cap, bottle cap, bottle cap. Quarters rang up exactly the same. At full disc. ( Your results may vary!). love my BH.

if you are able to hunt with someone who has what you think you may be interested in, it would help you decide. for some of us (older ones) weight makes the decision for us
