I'm new to Tnet and MDing but thought I'd do it right the 1st time and just received my new sovereign gt in the mail today from kellyco!! Can't wait to use it, just need the weather to turn for better way up north!!

You are one smart consumer. I didn't get mine until I bought my third machine. My forth wasn't as good, but I'm keeping it. My forth is a pretty good Tesoro.

Glad to see you started off right. Just read, read and read the manual some more and practice, practice and practice.

j.raud,

I own 2 sovereign Gts you are going to love your machine, just take time to learn it, learn the tones.

What kind of hunting are you going to do? If I may I suggest you check into getting the 15 inch WOT coil to go with it, combined it makes a fantastic team.......................

Good luck and good hunting.........

What part of the Adirondacks are you in? I used to live in Plattsburgh. Too cold up there for me.

Congrats on getting your MD. I am also new to this, other than the MD I got for Xmas from Radio Shack back when I was 10. My dad is into MDing and has found some cool items. Last time I was home, watching him reminded me of how much fun it was when I was a kid. So I figured I would dive in head first and bought a Minelab Safari. Hope I didn't make a mistake, but everything that I get into, I end up upgrading within a few months. Do not want to have to do the same thing this go around.

I'm just 20 minutes away from P'Burgh in the big D (Dannemora), up on the mountain where it's even colder.
