As a first grader, I lived at 6th and Lincoln. Across from the church. I heard that danged bell ring EVERY 15 minutes all night long! I also played at Kosciuszko Park. I'm now 70 years old and have a tip for you younger coinshooters. The swings were in the area that I have highlighted. You would not know it now because it's been grassed over. Try it out. The coins are still there. Mine too!

Good tip Terry, too far from me here in Michigan! Hope somebody checks it out and reports back.

Dang to bad you weren't from Caro lol.... Thanks for sharing!!

The park has changed so much I would not have known it save for the name has not changed. At least the statue is still there along Lincoln. Another Milwaukee tip.... forget looking for old coins in the SW quarter (he he) of Washington Park in Milwaukee. It was a zoo, with the bison and big cats still there when I was an early teen. ╦╦C

One of the things that impressed me, even at that young age was the trees just SW of the highlighted area would FILL with scarlet tanagers every spring. HUNDREDS of them, making the trees look like apple trees. ╦╦C

I no right where that is. I went to kozy middle school. Practiced in the park when i went to south davision for football. The practice field was not far from them swings. Payed 10 cents to rent a locker from there when i went swiming. That was in the 70s
