The flaking on that one in pic 5 is interesting and I like the misc finds in pic 4. What material do you think that is of the ones that aren't quartz in pic 2?

Great finds and I see you hunt construction sites also. A lot of folks never think to look there, but you never know what they are building on top of, so I never pass one up if I can help it.

Nice finds, and I second NCpeaches in noting that the flaking on that long side notched point is very interesting and eye catching. Very fortunate also that the little wash out on the job site was in just the right spot to expose the point in the insitu shot. HH

Cute pup and lots of great finds to.

Thanks folks-Peaches the material is likely solidified shale and rhyolite. Sometimes they can be hard to tell apart with the patina and weathering.
Redbeard- There are two points in the insitu picture. One is partially cover just below the exposed one.
Monsterrack- I have a few other spots but job sites is about all I look now. You have to get on them quick before too much dirt gets moved.

Ahhhh.. Thanks SCrocks, I can see the second point now. I am still waiting for the day that I can find two points visible at the same time. I think an official inspection of more soil in that immediate area is called for. lol

Nice finds as usual! I've often looked longingly at construction sites, but never had the nerve to just go and walk it like I owned it. Maybe I should try.
