Went back to the old tavern site yesterday for a few hours. Found a pretty nice suspender buckle pat. 1870. Well If I cant catch a coin with a decent date, darnit I am gonna find something that has one :laughing7:.Speaking of coins without a decent date I did catch a FE cent, but it has had it! Can make out a little of the date, I believe it to be a 57? Also found A ball cuff button, some flat buttons, and one of those 20th cen. United Railway and elec buttons that made my heart do a little flip coming up, thought I had a nice civ cuff button for a second there. But these are pretty common buttons. One of my favorite finds of the hunt is actually the old froe head, kind of a neat tool. thanks for the look.--HH everyone 006.webp008.webp008.webp003.webp011.webp039.webp040.webp033.webp

Thanks, but this stuff isn't that great. Looks like you do just fine yourself. If I compared worthiness I probably wouldn't post at all. Good places to hunt is the key! And I am slowly running out of them. Good luck this weekend Joe

Nice looking old suspender buckle. Looks like the froe is pretty solid too.:icon_thumright:

The FE cents are like the SL silver coins DI2 in my opinion -detail is not good usually. Good Suspender buckle to add to your collection. WTG, Q.

Congratz on some nice digs! Especially the Flying Eagle!
