Lime-kiln Just outside the Borough Limits of Paxtang Where Gangs of Hoboes
Who Had been robbing I Terrorizing the People of the Suburban Section Spent the Night.
it had been a Favorite Haunt for the Knights of the Roads for Many Years and Frequently the homes of the Paxtang Folk were Robbed. The people were Up in arms at the Number of Robberies in 1916.

Needles to Say, Thieves Knew to hide the Things they stole from Other Thieves.
There were Many reasons For Caches being Made & Not Recovered.
