I wanted to try something out and see how well it works out. If things work the way I plan then this post should never die. My plan is to post something up for free including shipping to any place in the USA. The first person to PM me will get the item I list but they have to offer up another item up for free including shipping. The first person to to PM them will get their item and must also list something for free and so on and so on. You all get the idea. A severe tongue lashing will come to anyone that takes an item and does not offer something up for free.

I would also like to make a rule that you can only claim an item once a month. There are some people that live on the forum and would get every item that is listed so we need some way to make this fair to all of us on here. It would be an honor system but I would think most of us would be honest and only take something once a month and only if we have something of value to repost. I am part of a forum for my motorcycle and we've been doing this same thing since 5/9/12. The thread has 1,590 replies, 54 pages and is still doing strong!

The items up don't necessarily have to do anything with metal detecting. Lets be reasonable though... If someone offers up a gift card worth 10 bucks and the person who takes it offers a pencil.... we cant do that.

Just be a decent human being to your fellow forum-ers and PAY IT FORWARD!!!

Cool, a bag to put your bag in! How's this?
If you send your Garrett Bag (I don't even have a detector yet) to B.C. Canada, I'll send a homemade hand suction dredge to anywhere in North America. It's my first one, and it actually has lot's of suction. I was really happy with my first try. It cost about $25 in wimpy Canadian dollars, and I made it in 1 night.
I don't think homeland security is to worried about vinyl and pvc...lol.
But only if you release the bag, unharmed!

very cool idea man, if it fits it ships is cheap to,i send rock/soil samples all the time. if i had a use for the bag ,i would jump at it,but when i go prospecting and hounding,i already carry to much crap,that empty bag would mean that i have to put more crap in it,lol i got a set of binauculars, never use them,but they are new ,so when somthing pops, i'll pop too!

We could all learn to be nicer to everyone (I think most of the folks on this forum are pretty cool cats) , and pay it forward is a great way to get the ball rolling. I would have taken the finds bag and passed it on to my cousin who is just getting into detecting.

I think what your doing is great. I recently was able to get my hands on several first edition books, and found they sell on ebay for 20-45 bucks. Once I get the info compiled, in the next day or two, I would be willing to throw in on this.
