Any history you know of about this... We were going through our old coins and came across it ...we dug her up awhile back....was it part of a decoration type medal that attached to a ribbon? Back has nothing at all on it! Thanks for any help and info!

8) this has a broken ring on the top for an attachment...so definately not a coin...I believe it will find a better place now to be kept....haha....CONFEDERATE SEAL....Why didnt I know that....dah....Thanks guys for the help...Where is PBK?! THIS ONE IS VFW MEDAL............

Well, let's assume it's one of those "Confederate Seal" keychain fobs. Brand new? $3-5. Here's one with a fancy border, but otherwise the same.

Um... so I've been wondering, although we know that it's the confederate seal, why the differences in appearence?

Michelle's has the date on the bottom, but every other example I see has the words "deo vindice" on the bottom with the date on the right side.
