Yesterday I had a hectic run around in Denver going to a LTL freight terminal to retrieve a shipment that's been sitting since 1:am there last Friday. Dispatch said, sorry, due to covid we're short handed on dock and delivery driver's. No sweat I'll come down and get it. It was a 530lb.load, which was great weight to put in the back of my Ford Ranger as that be good for the traction getting to the mine up in the mountains. After all that running around with all the noise of the Denver Metro, it was nice to be up in the snow country and hear only the wind blowing though the trees and kicking up swirling snow devils from crisp dry climate up air. They look like ghost going here and there in all the peace and quiet, you'll experience this time of the year in the lesser traveled destinations of the Rockies.
