I love my Pedernales Points. Without a doubt one of the most commonly found styles around Central Texas. Broken or whole, the Pedernales form haunts every dig and surface hunt around the State of Texas
Usually between 2 and 3 inches in length, some examples exceed 3 to 4 inches and have needle tips.
I Thought I'd do a family picture, but as soon as I did, I noticed others I forgot to take out. I'll get them next time.

What do they look like when they are exhausted? With that base, I’d think a used up Pedernales would fool you into thinking it was a Dalton or other paleo point. Nice group of points.

That black one on the lower left is one of the most "used up" I've seen in one piece.

So even if it's used up it still has enough of the shoulder on it that you don't get confused. Cool. Don't know much about TX stuff. Still learning.

Pretty points for such a big state there’s not a lot of Texas representation on here.
