I have been an avid detector for years and own numerous older machines. However just this last weekend I took out a machine for the heck of it on some private land which I had permission to detect on. Needless to say I found a few old quarters from the 60s and a cool pocket knife. I loved the experience so much that I was looking for some place to metal detect with my 5 yr old other than the beach.
Is there anywhere in Broward you can metal detect other than the beach? I just want to take my kid out, create some dad/son memories and find some peace and serenity.
