As I learn this new detector I pretty much dig every repeatable signal. Today I was using my small coil and flipping between yhe 3 frequencies, I came across a signal that had a medium tone but flipped between low 30s and mid 70s. It pinpointed to about 4 in down. After popping the plug it still showed in the hole. I kept digging, at about 9 in I found a very corroded pen knife with the bone handle still hanging on one side. It appears to be double bladed. It never ceases to amaze me what you can find in your front yard, my house was built in 1905.
