I would say it's a piece that us only under 15 yrs in being made.
Similar pendent sell for $20-25 range.

How do you tell? Is this some sort of Art and Craft idea?
Just look on the internet for similar cheap tin pendants. Etsy, Ebay, and other sites have examples.

I didn't look anything up like Pepper suggested, but I'm, thinking like a high school jewelry class. Certainly looks to be silver.

Yeah like I thought. Can't find anything remotely similar in the internet bar Ruskin.

No markings but I've silver without. It's not magnetic but I highly suspect a tin alloy.
