Having secured permission to access some promising land, CSA1Chipper and I met up under heavy skies and got to the task at hand. We had to stop only once when the heavens truly opened up but it was not for long.

Here are my finds for the day:

A. .54 Cal Gardner 2 ringer CSA bullet
B. Unidentified item (seriously, I have no idea what it is)
C. Suspender buckle?
D. Pre-Civil War button ?(not flat, slightly concave)
E. Small decorated button (button has words HAIR FANCY on the back side)
F. Part of a folding knife (New York Knife Company)

I found an interesting website detailing archeological digs at the old NYKCo factory:

The New York Knife Company

A good day over all.

BTW I have close up photos but this new format won't let me put them in the order I want them in. Sorry everyone.

PB

Yeah, playing dodge with the T-Storms made it interesting. Working on the photos for today's post right now.
