Anyway, a friend of mine finally let me detect on her property (a house once stood there in colonial times) Anyway, i'd been doing some research and as most of you seasoned detectorists know old trees are great places to check. Well there were 3 old oak trees and i checked the base of each one. Nothing under the first one, one indian head penny under the 2nd, and under the 3rd, all in the same hole, a whopping 9 indian head pennies!

And the best part is, the past 100 years have been pretty kind on most of them
oh yeah, also found a bit of clad but this was all that was worth mentioning
