Do you think a mint error would make a single penny with a date from 42 years ago and textured like stucco?
 

Looks like ones I have after they go through the rock tumbler.
 

Acid wash. Sand blasted. Something after the mint, either way. Worth all you paid for it...

Copper true weight should have been 3.11g, it lost a lot of weight from acid wash to get down to 3.04g
