Do they make Dansco type albums for Canadian cents? All I can find are albums that have little plastic pockets for the coins to sit in.

Or if you are a copper hoarder, you could keep the ones minted through 1996 as they are copper.

There were slight changes to the copper percentage in 1978, 1980, and 1982 with pre-1982 pennies worth more than double face in metal content and 1982-1996 worth over 1.8x face at todays copper value.

Pre-1980 Canadian cents actually had a slightly higher copper content than pre-1982 US cents.

So other than my roll collection of Canadian dates (of which I haven't officially started tracking yet and have just been piling up Canadians in bulk), I consider my Canadian coppers as my "copper hoard". I believe it is even legal to melt them in the U.S. if I had any desire to do so.

Over the years I have picked up a load of Canadian change....
For fun I added it up...

I currently have approximately
18,553 Canadian pennies
2,654 Canadian nickels
1,542 Canadian dimes
340 Canadian quarters
2 Canadian halves
17 Canadian dollars
21 Canadian 2-dollars

Face value = $617.43

Other than pennies of which I have lots of extras, most them will go toward my roll collection.
