Penny, penny, penny, oh wait! That's no penny!

Tried a new place today. Figured it'd been hit before, but that doesn't mean much to me. ;)

Didn't do all that bad:

I wouldn't want to be shot in any case, but especially not by this! :O

As I hunt I always try to call my shot.
It helps teach me how the machine responds.
I was going thru this one area full of zincolns.

I said, penny, penny, penny and each was a zincoln.

A little further on I said penny, oh wait! That's NOT a penny!

My day was made. :)

But, of course, when I got home.

It figures. LOL

Dadburn that Blingie! Always running off with things!

I forgot to post this tiny piece.

Only about an inch long, blank on the back. I thought it was a zipper pull at first but now I don't.
Interesting design on it anyway.

And, I forgot to point out my latest ride.

Nice finds! Blingie is getting spoiled a lot recently! You are like the ring whisperer haha

You are ruining the lizard........ too much bling makes em go blind. :icon_thumleft:

You should see when it tries to wear all the bling at once! LOL

Thanks!

Sweet ring what's best guess on the stone ? Peridot ?

Gosh, I don't know. Not my strong suit. Do they put good stones in sterling?

This seems to have a bit of damage on one edge. I guess that can happen to a stone in the ground for a long time. :dontknow:

Congrats! Blingie is really happy! The stone is his favorite color! And you got Him a car! You are awesome! I have found a 925 silver with GP ring with real but cloudy tiny diamonds, and a 14K with CZ stone, go figure. The little piece of metal is neat, what do you think it is? Blingie. may need that car to haul all his jewelry around in !

WHATIFIND, do you like your Garrett pin pointer? I'm thinking about getting one.

Actually, I think, the little piece IS a zipper pull or off a shoe. If I'm not mistaken, this is the logo to MUDD beach or something like that?

I've not compared them to any others but yeah. I love this thing! Saves me soooo much time and helps me to keep my holes as small as possible.

Try it, you'll like it! :)

I was out the other day and I think I found one of blingie's friends.

What did the ring come in at on the V.D.I. do you recall?

Actually, it was one of those where one isn't paying as close attention as they should be. You know, like after 10 pennies dug in a row? LOL

It was pretty deep too. But, if I recall correctly, around 78 - 81 and faint!

Hope that helps.

Yep thank you. I've walked by some signals like that and now I'm wishing I hadn't.

A couple things that changed my perspective all around was to actually take a few rings out in the yard (in baggies of course ;) ), and see how my machine actually responds to them in different situations. Also, once in a while, when it gets boring out there, I'll plot out about 10 feet square and go over it inch, by inch, overlapping. I dig everything but and the key is, I make sure I know exactly what sounds and vdi are before I dig. It can be quite and eye opener sometimes. ;)

Good luck!
