The one thing i have longed for. Winter, summer,rain, snow, countless hours searching and this is what it comes to. I found the "old" looking one first and prayed that it could possibly be real. After another 2 hrs. I found the nice shiny one and knew the horrible truth. People are cruel.

Brings back memories of the Treasure Coast and my visit to the Mel Fisher Museum. And that fateful day I planted the gold for my detecting buddy.
Although......not the same when a stranger does it to you.
I had a guy come up to me about 2 weeks ago on the beach and told me to go way down the beach and find all the loose change he threw out down there.
OK......I'll rush right down there to look for your generosity............The same guy had a 6 pack at 9 in the morning roaming the beach.........they're not just cruel....some are crazy.

Ever think it might have been a vacationing kid playing in the sand with the replicas their grandparents bought for them and they they lost them?
Happens quite often on Cape Cod. One day netted 4 silver and one gold...a bummer all around.
