Perfume stopper?

.5" at the base. Looking through from top to bottom you can read an inscription "live and let live." I'm thinking perfume bottle stopper. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Could be a "William T Allen & Son, Paterson, N.J." stopper. That's what I'm coming up with for that slogan, though I haven't found a match for you particular stopper yet.
