It's been a while since I've hunted since I didn't have the time. I received 4 boxes of halves from my bank back in august. I just recently in the past few days really started going through them. The first 2 yielded a proof and quite a few NIFC.
The next two though. As soon as I opened the box, I was immediately greeted with a 1948 Bender that would have been MS if not for a big gash in the obverse. I go through the rest of the box and find 2 more proofs and a 40%er. The second box had another 2 proofs. Funny thing happened. I had 3 rolls left and that's where the stash was hiding. In the far back corner too. First roll had a MS 1964. Second roll had a 1961 (no dbl). If that wasn't good enough, I found yet another 40% in the last roll.
I think I pulled about 40 NIFC in total. Almost have a second full tube of 2003's now. 4 proofs with a beautiful looking 2010. 2 40%, 1 90%, and 2 bens.
All in all the best 2 boxes i've had so far. Definitely enough to kick me back into the hunt.
