Persistence pays off

Big Howday from Arkie Land.

I went hunting on Thursday and Friday. I was trying
out a new spot. We won’t talk about the trash I found,
but I was trying. So let’s go on To Saturday.

Saturday I hunted a little here and there. Not much,
but I did find a smashed penny from the Memphis
Zoo.

To day went a little better. I went to a park I’ve hunted
a lot. To day I was just hunting around places I’ve been
at before, but today I just hunted around the out side
of the tot lot area in sand and gravel that over spilled
the tot lot. It turned out to be just like hunting inside the
tot lot itself.

I found lots of clad, an ear ring, and three pendants.
One is a heart with fake diamonds. An other is a silver
looking pendant with a red stone and says “ India “ on
the back. It has an unbroken chain.

Best find today is a small 14k gold pendant.

Nice finds!

I've only found a few coins in the sand of a tot lot, someone must get there before me. But I have found more than a few coins while detecting the grass that borders the sand.

Tabdog looks like you have about the same luck as I do...but at least you got out and gave it a good try...guess you have lots of good places to search over there near Little Rock.... If the pendent marked India comes up as silver on your detector I would imagine that it is-India produces a lot of jewelry
