Pewter, any value?

Pewter -It comprises of tin based tableware with minimum tin content of 84 %.
So given tin prices at new highs, is there any value in pewter scrap? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

is there any value in pewter scrap? Anyone have any experience with this?

I called my scrapper last year and he took a while to answer me.
He does not want any if it has lead in it. (decorative pieces do) If there is no lead I think he will pay $4 lb if I have a fair amount. So I buy plates and beer mugs and I am just assuming they have no lead.
