Hi,

One egyptian friend of mine owns a massive land, we think that there is a Pharaonic Treasure exist under it.
This treasure could be a full tombstone or just a separated pieces made of stone or pottery and buried directly in the sand.

Which detector should we buy to detected the tombstone or the separated pieces of stones as long as it might not be made of metal ?

Thank you.

GPR or a gravimeter, but only good for large stones not small pieces.

You might find a book on how such places were excavated by archaeoligists. Why do you believe there may be tombs?

do you know any book names?
we believe so regards the location of this land and the history which is related to it.

If nothing you're looking for is made of metal, it looks to me that it's dig and sift time.

You can search for "archaeological techniques books"

Or "archaeologival techniques" which may lead you to free info. Maybe old maps of the area may provide clues where to search. Google Earth might help.
That would be a fascinating project. If it is there you might eventually sort out where to dig. Good luck.

Time to wake up buddy I think your dream typing again...

Plow it and plant it. If you don't turn up anything you can sell the crops and save up for the ground penetrating radar.

Note that a LOT of archeological treasures have been turned up by farmers.
