All Treasure Hunting
So while at Jackie's (she's the nice lady who brought me out a beer while I was hunting) mid 1700's home I get a high signal and after we had recovered so much good treasure from the back I couldn't wait see see what this one would be. The depth indicated 4" so this should be easy - right? Wrong of course - as I cut the plug with my Lesche I discovered a root the diameter of a half dollar running perfectly thru the center of the hole with my target directly underneath. However with "Seated" visions in my head I was not to be deterred. I dug around the side until I could see the silver reeded edge that could only be a dime. And a lowly Rosie at that!

At this point I decided to give the guys good laugh by showing them my reward in the hole. However Carolina Tom took the wind out of my sails - when I got to them they were looking at a chunk of concrete that he was holding and saying "There's a coin in there" - turns out he had a vision of a Flying Eagle Cent in his slick head. He began slamming his chunk against larger pieces of concrete leaving me to think "who the heck scans solid concrete in the first place?" He was finally successful and was rewarded with a not so shiny Lincoln Memorial.

Later that day Tom had "to go." So George took him around to "the little shack out back"

This seemed too much for Tom to comprehend given the fact that he does come from the poor side of town back home. So he just showed George the way we do it on Tobacco Road! image.webp

Man you 2 sure get a workout pulling treasure. I have yet to break concrete for a penny and would not mind at all having to hack through a root to pull a silver rosie. By the way it's done that way all over, and I did used to live on a road named Tobacco Road near Fort Campbell KY back in the late 70's.

That was pretty damn funny!

Laughed so hard I had tears. In that last pic are they chatting or checking each other out?

Loco-Digger said Man you 2 sure get a workout pulling treasure
Pulling Treasure I know I'm blind but I'm not gonna look at that last pic again now
Well CT did say he had a Great time in Philly.

Alright now!!! Lets keep this PG13..
Well written, and funny as hell.

(1.) The brick layer that put that Lincoln cent in the mortar deserves a swift kick.
(2.) That outhouse was sketchy, and there were lots of excellent bushes all around.
(3.) In the last pic... George and I were talking about Deus programs, Smittyman uses a CTX, so he didn't understand.

OK, you asked for it...

Has anyone ever seen "My Cousin Vino" and Joe Pesci in the same room? I suspect that they are one and the same!

Ohhh Crap!!! You went there huh????

That is classic!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laughing9::laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:

You know, The pic of the " little White House out back" appears to me that just maybe George was trying to lure Tom in and lock the door because he wouldn't go sit in the truck during time out...or if it was a 2 seater, maybe he was just being a gentleman and allowing Tom to go first. It does look like Tom is thinking " Well, he doesn't have candy or drive a van, so I guess it's OK..." Lol.
Smittyman, this was a very funny post...great work on putting those pics together and telling the story!

Smittyman we would all pay good $$ for a copy of that last pic so we could frame it. Its a Wall of Famer. You are my new hero.

You do know there is a sub forum here where you can post a pic and members add their own funny captions...

You're just trying to get me sent to Band Camp aren't you OD. Those pics speak for themselves and don't need a caption

Yeah, I want nothing to do with this post. I agree with everyone and nobody.
