A couple of Ohio finds that my head huntin friend managed to eyeball....
The blade is unusual in that it is quite thick in the center nearly 1 and 1/4 inch thick. Such a large piece for the crude small base to support. The effigy(?) I threw in to settle an ongoing debate. Effigy or not.

If that second piece is uniface I would think that it's a unique side scraper with four notches/ spokeshaves. Is there any evidence of usewear?

Welcome to T-Net artifacts. That first stemmed piece is beautiful. Second looks like a bird.I think its just a core that looked like a bird or thats what they saw and they probably did a couple strategic strikes to make it more so. Who knows may have been for a child. Very cool whatever it is.
Welcome to a fun site.

Morning,

That is one more huge blade. I love the mineralization on it....I hunt a spot that every piece you find has coloration on it like that. As for the effigy...probably just an an accident of manufacture, but it really does look like a bird. For sake of argument, if it were mine it would be a bird effigy....LOL.

Thanks for posting,

Atlantis
