Picked up an etrac!

This thing is SWEEEETTTT!!

I know I’m getting addicted, but this thing was a steal!

4 coils!

Grey ghost headphones (that I don’t know how to work yet)..

3 battery types..
one for AA batteries..
one rechargeable nicad minelab pack with charger..
and some custom 3d printed thing that lets it use 3 18650 lithium cells, bunch of 18650 cells, and a charger for 18650 cells..

Im stoked!
The thing is quiet and tones are beautiful..
Nulls threshold over masked targets <awesome..

It’s a little roughed up but ready for more hunting!

A little heavier but a good heavy feel..

The detech coils are amazing. They are great at trash seperation. Some of the best coils I've used. If you dont mind, what did a used E-trac & coils cost?

I believe the price I paid is not a good representation of the market..
It was quite an opportunity to get to experience one of these machines at basically no financial risk because I’m quite positive that I can get more than my money back out of it if I decide not to keep it..
So far I think that’s not going to happen though because I’m really loving it!

People say this thing is so complicated? It’s easier for me to understand than the nox..
The notching capabilities aren’t even more complicated, just incredibly more granular, and even with so much more ID precision it is so much more stable and “locks on” so much better..

I’ve only put a little time on it so far and have only found a few coins..
Spent a fair amount of time experimenting with the big coil in a place where I probably shouldn’t have been using it (too much trash).
But I am already pretty confident that if I set out to look ONLY for coins with this thing, I would end up digging very very little trash..

The ferrous numbers are awesome!
I would have dug many high conductivity targets that also showed high ferrous readings..

I think, I’m not sure, I’m no expert, but I’m impressed..

It’s cost to me did also include a full tank of premium fuel and almost 5 hours of driving though..

Guy I bought it from sold it because he bought a new CTX3030..

Yeah I've never owned a E-trac, but from all the forums I visit, they claim they are a coin/relic hound. Hope the best with it.
