Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Lot of old and new trash was thrown in here over the years, trash pits as well. But it's been a honey hole site if you don't mind digging anything that repeats and filling a buckle with junk, cans and pull tabs. I spend about 5 hours mostly picking up trash this weekend. Few goodies hiding in the junk.

*Aluminum Woodrow Wilson lucky play money 10 cent coin. Circa 1937.

*silver plated sash buckle with leather insert

* Ronson Art metal works Newark NJ cigarette case with removable lighter

*generic key and a shaker lid.

All sounded like trash.

Nice vintage finds, that case is a Kooool.
I see what you did there... I found the lighter first and then the case a little later. The top has a rather unique opening. Then I quickly realized it matched the lighter contours. It's the second case I've found here. Other was engraved with the name Ruth. Wonder if this is also hers??

That cigarette lighter/case is way cool.
It looks like something James Bond would carry. Great find.
