Congratulations Dave on finding the Beautiful Tiffany Silver Ring!
I went out on a hunt with Davebien and P2c this morning. It was great to get out with you guys. We hunted at a Chicago Park for about four hours. Nothing much going on til Daves giving out a whoopla yell I found a ring! It was the excitement of our day.
The ring is Tiffany and has some weight to it . It cost a pretty penny when that ring was new. Dave will give you guys the details.
Congrats Dave! :icon_thumright:

Thank you Sir.... Must admit the ring beats the heck out of that baseball I found yesterday! It was found with my DFX, I'm still trying to learn the new SE. Otherwise I found 4 whole clad pennies, a bag full of trash. And oh yes, since it was a Chicago park I found the obligatory 32cal bullet. Looks like they missed !

It was fun getting out. And its heavy and marked 925. I'll try to get some closeups after its cleaned and the wife gives it back.

Hmmm, sounds familiar. Still waiting to get that diamond/ruby ring and that diamond/sapphire ring I found years ago back.... On the upside, I'm sure they've been cleaned by now.

Super find!

Congratulations on a very nice ring! All the bullets in that park really annoy me because they ring up just like Indians on my machine!

:icon_thumright: Congratulations :coffee2: Great dig !!

I'm sure that ring is worth more than most silver dimes. WTG on finding it!!

Awesome job!!! :icon_pirat:

Good to get out with you guys... Glad that Dave got the silvery bling! It was a fun time since at least one of us got something besides crusty wheaties, bullets, and cruddy clad. Now we don't have to read posts about you having holes in your find bag or lesions of the doomed or anything of that sort...

Hmm, if you were out there... in the fields... that beauty must have been deep! Congrats on sweetie!!!

CONGRATS ON THE RING AND FOR LEAVING ME SOME COINS . I WAS IN THE SAME AREA BUT IN THE AFTERNOON . POST MY FINDS LATER!

Wow what a nice ring!
I bet it would be possible to find out the date that style was manufactured.

I noticed you seem to not be using gloves - not that it's any of my business but
that could be dangerous in Chicago parks what with the broken glass and syringes and all.
I've managed to get one bumble bee sting and a second almost sting from another bumble bee at a later time. Both bees were under the ground. I now wear gloves every place I dig.

Congrats on the cool finds!

Nice find Dave!!

Those Tiffany's are sweet  (I've never found one yet)

Here's the Tiffany and Co silver ring I dug today after cleaning and winning 2 of 3 arm wrestling matches with the wife. I think it was made in 1997 since there is a copyright date inside. Its part of a series of Tiffany #1837. Checking the current website I think something similar runs from $150 - $600. I'm sure mine is on the cheaper side. And for the gloves, I actually have a pair of kevlar gloves but that dirt is actually from my handling the soil afterwards. No glass or "sticks". It was so soft today. Sorry for the bad pic, I was too lazy to get the Nikon D80 out. lol

Welcome to the Tiffany Club! I found a 1982 T&Co sterling pendant a couple years ago near the beach with Lowbatts and Treasurefiend. They hold their value quite well. Look good buddy!
