Piece of pottery needs I.D. if possible

Found this on top of the ground while metal detecting after a farmer disked the field, Said to be a old turpentine mill at this location north of Savannah ga. The blue area is 3x2 inches roughly by almost 1/2 inch thick, I'm thinking a butter churn lid or something similiar. tia steve
