✅ SOLVED Piece off a gun?

Found this morning on the old permission with CW era relics. It is broken on the top where the two bumps poke out. I though maybe something to do with a trigger or strap? Or maybe a pewter cup handle? It is pretty heavy and rang 14-15 on the Nox.
