Here are a couple of scenery pictures from the Front Range.
This is a view of Pikes Peak about a quarter mile down the road from my Daughters house. A point of a ridge blocks the view from her window.

The fresh snow looks great up there. Its the fist place the sun touches:) It sure looks nice when the sunsets and sunrise reflect off the snow. I'm up behind the left shoulder right below trendline:) Great pictures!
 
I remember driving up several times when it was warm at the bottom and freezing at the top. But what a view! Certainly worth the drive.
 
I saw the back tip of Picks Peak today on a highway around Penrose, Colorado today. Nice shot.

Cool, wish you could have made it up to the high country, even though I took off and went to Utah for a while this week.
 
i was there for the race one july,needed a jacket,cool place.
