Pin pointing with ATP

Ideation for everyone! I have been learning the ATP for a month or so now so far so good but I do have a question. I am using the 5x8 coil and a few times I hve gone to pinpoint the target in kinda trashy areas but the coil will pick up two targets so you might cover an area a foot long before the pinpoint drops off. Any ideas?

Try turning the coil 90º to 180º or use just the tip of the coil to pinpoint with.

Agree 100%. Do the Double-D wiggle. I use wiggle almost exclusively. I still pinpoint but as you said in a trash area or even better when you have multiple targets the pin pointing modeit will center on the MASS not the individual items because its an all metal mode

Off the heal or toe really helps almost any time i can't get a good pinpoint. Also to detune the pinpointing I hold the coil maybe six inches above the target and reset.
