I found this two weeks ago in the sand. Only the median ridge was showing. It is toothy to say the least.

i thought it was dead on for carter cave,orangish hue,waxy texture and I am assuming you hunt the ohio river area which is in the distribution range for carter.but you would know better than I because i dont find it much this far north.where at do you live down there?I used to hunt the ohio river alot,love hunting that area.i used to hunt spots between marrietta and stuebenville.i havent hunted much lately,every time i plan on an all day hunt something comes up and derails my hunt.planning on alot of hunting this weekend.lol.actually hitting some creeks today.again great find chuck.ohio said:Thanks for the replies guys.
