Pioneer Bounty Hunter 101 "Treasure Finder"

Does anyone know the best setting's for this old metal detector? I have it on high discrimination with toggle set to tone, but it still seems to go off for anything!!

the only thing i can say is i have a bounty hunter as well I took out a nickle dime penny a nail some foil and a piece of iron that i had laying around and I played around with the settings till i found what i liked and i can find all kind of things with it now not just junk. I found about 30 dollars in change in a week with it. It is a good md you just have to get use to what it is telling you. I always keep a nickel and my ring with me and test it on them to make sure it is on the setting i want it. Hope this helps you out some use the discrimination to block out what you dont want to find with the test on the stuff i said
